M&M’S Chocolate Cookie Truffle

Fun and easy to prepare, these truffles are perfect as a sweet Easter treat or for holiday gift-giving.

 

INGREDIENTS

2pkg (1.23 oz each) M&M'S Milk Chocolate Candies, divided
4oz brick-style plain cream cheese
12 Chocolate Cookie Sandwiches, finely crushed
113grams pastel-colored candy melts, melted

 

DIRECTIONS

1. In food processor, pulse M&M’S Milk Chocolate until coarsely chopped; set aside.
2. Using electric mixer, beat together cream cheese and crushed cookies until blended. Beat in half of the crushed M&M’S.
3. Scoop tablespoonfuls of mixture into 12 rounds; place on parchment paper–lined baking tray. Freeze for about 15 minutes or until firm. Re-roll mixture into smooth balls.
